Description: When the company makes the logo intro extruded 3d letters, and then comp in lots of footage from iconic moments within the franchise. It's done to really sum up the films and the franchise as a whole. Marvel’s version of this is the most well known, but other companies recently have been following this trend too such as the BBC.
Use: To show a large franchise of tv or films altogether and representing the whole show, and then reveal the name of the show as the lock up.
