Animating with just outlines, lines and strokes. This approach can come off quite simple up front, but really it is quite a refined technique and really runs with the idea that less is more. Outlines can be used to create shapes and patterns, and animating the stroke on and builds the effect. Just make sure the shapes are clear and readable.
Use: This is a very stylistic approach and should be used for shape related animation, or anything that is driven by string, or something long, like wool, or candy cane.
