Showreels

Description:

A showreel is a cut of all of your best work. Find a decent music track, cut it all together and show off your work in the best way possible. Keep them to a max of 1 minute long, if you can go shorter, go for it! Anything longer tends to linger, pick out your best work and really hone in on what makes it so special. There is a lot of advice out there for showreels and it is very subjective.  Funnily enough the example to this piece was part of the inspiration behind this whole resource!

Use:  Use a showreel as proof of the work you’re capable of. It helps you secure jobs, builds trust and ultimately gets you a job. The showreel should sell itself.
