Description:

The most minimal character animation there is. Just draw a stick figure and away you go. There are quite a lot of tools out there for this kind of animation as it really is the simplest one. Flash used to be the go to, but Flash is dead now. 

Use: Basically never for a motion graphic with budget, the expectation is higher and you’d be expected to have fully fleshed out characters with clothes and details and all the rest. Use this as a way to teach yourself how to animate, and understand how characters move. It is used quite a lot on the internet for people who animate as a hobby.
